Seth said many of the same things, generations apart. ![]() I don't want to make waves, everyone has their own beliefs, but Edgar Cayce said that Jesus reincarnated 30 times before he became the person we know (or maybe don't know) in the Bible. Also that people who believe in organized religion instead of looking within and thinking for themselves will have the hardest times in their lives in the future. If you recall, Jesus insisted on eating afterward so the disciples could see he was not a ghost and was able to eat. ![]() Seth recalled incarnations back to Jesus's time, and said that was a conspiracy, that Judas was in on it, and they drugged another man who died on the cross. Sadly though, Sanditon ends after just 70 pages. Sanditon is the name of a fictional seaside resort, and even without the rest of the book, we can guess how it would end, with overly optimistic investors in the late 18th century sea-bathing craze losing all their money. ![]() As Oxford professor Kathryn Sutherland writes in her introduction to the book, “Only one paragraph in, we know that Sanditon will be unlike any other novel Austen wrote.” ![]() In Sanditon, the turns of phrase and wry observation of human behaviour are distinctly Jane Austen, but that’s about it.
